Memory: Mental Time Travel and Altered States of Reality

To All God's Children,
-->
Counterfactual thinking is the ability to mentally time travel to the past with the desire to change a situation usually with some hint of regret. The idea of altered states of reality is kind of cool. It’s like a different dimension where you could change every stupid thing you’ve ever done and make the situation better for you or someone else. The funny thing about people and their seemingly perfect memory is that sometimes we remember a moment from our life wrong because to remember the real outcome of the situation would bring weight to our minds. It's yet another way to be free.

Peace be with you
