Time and Existence

To All God's Children,

I believe that time is relative to our biological clocks that run according to our earth and the sun, but in fact time does not actually exist. The universe had no beginning (sorry big bang theory) and will have no end. It just is. I think this is a concept hard for many to understand because we have always seen the beginning and end of everything such as the beginning of a life and the end of one. Our lives run to a distinct beginning and to a distinct end, but that doesn’t mean that planets, stars, and galaxies exist in the same manner. Matter exists and is constantly being built up and torn down.

The earth is said to be some 46 million years old. But what is a year but one revolution around the sun. Therefore, the earth has revolved around the sun that many times. We can’t measure time in the whole universe by one planet who takes 365 (sometimes 366) spins until it revolves once around a yellow star that itself hasn’t always existed and will someday die.

Peace be with you
