To All God's Children,
-->I believe in a certain balance of life and how people are born or leave the world and may return to it someday. I do believe in reincarnation, but in a very abstract sense. The Hindu have a more spiritual outlook on life and believe that your grandmother can be reincarnated as a bug, so be friendly to all insects may you not destroy the life of a loved one again. What I believe is similar, but in a different light. Think about when we die and the rules of physics that state “the conservation of mass”.
Perhaps when we die our particles are dispersed and we literally are reincarnated into another physical being. It could make all the difference how our funerals play out. Hindus incinerate their dead allowing their particles to fly freely into the sky and up into the cosmos even. And where to westerner put their dead? In the ground so they can grow into the grass we tread on every time we visit him or her in the cemetery. It’s a horrible thought, but I believe with further conceptualization I can suggest even more reasons for a belief in reincarnation – or at least a physical one.
